Started off as a solo singer and songwriter in 2001. Released two DIY album in 2001 and 2007 and begin his music journey since then.
Participated in various local and oversea events like the Taiwan's Indie music festival: Spring Scream 2006 and 2007, Singapore’s “Hua Yi” festival 2005, 2008. Singapore Firework Festival in 2004 and Singapore Music Festival in 2004.
In 2007 with the reunion of some friends a band was formed to produce more high powering alternative rock acts, still using the name "ah5ive"
A new line-up was formed.
Since the band was formed they have been providing high powered performance which attracted certain followers and open new route for their music journey..
ah5ive is also an ally of the The Enigmatic Army.
